Managing Playlists

How to edit, organize, and delete your playlists in Vid Receipts.

Managing Playlists

Once you've created playlists, you can manage them from the Playlists tab in your dashboard.

Viewing a Playlist

Click on any playlist card to see its contents. The detail view shows:

  • Playlist name and description
  • Number of videos
  • Play All button — loads the entire playlist into your queue and starts playing
  • Each video with a play button and remove option

Playing a Playlist

Click "Play All" to:

  1. Clear your current queue
  2. Add all playlist videos to the queue
  3. Navigate to the first video and start playing

You can also play individual videos from the playlist detail view — they'll be added to your queue.

Removing Videos from a Playlist

In the playlist detail view, each video has a remove button. Click it to remove the video from the playlist.

Deleting a Playlist

  1. In the Playlists tab, hover over a playlist card
  2. Click the (more options) menu
  3. Select Delete
  4. The playlist is permanently removed

Note: Deleting a playlist does not affect videos in your queue. If you've already loaded the playlist into your queue, those videos remain queued.

YouTube Playlists

If you've connected your YouTube account, your YouTube playlists also appear in the "From YouTube" section. These are read-only — they reflect your playlists on YouTube and update automatically.

To view the contents of a YouTube playlist, click on it to see its video items. You can play individual videos or use "Play All" to load them into your queue.

Playlist Visibility

When creating a playlist, you can set its visibility:

  • Private (default) — only you can see it
  • Shared — visible to specific users you invite
  • Public — visible to anyone on Vid Receipts
